Steven E. Anderson worked in the make-up department for a multitude of films and television shows including Star Trek: Enterprise. He is a native Californian, is married, and has been a Union Makeup Artist for Over thirty years. As a MAkeup Artist, his abilities range from Runway Beauty Makeup to Hard Core Special Makeup Effects.

Anderson was first nominated for an Emmy Award, along with the rest of the make-up department, for Outstanding Make-up for a Series (prosthetic) for the second season episode "Canamar".

He won an Emmy Award in 2009 for Outstanding Make-up in a Single Camera Series (non-prosthetic) for his work on Pushing Daisies, which was shared with Todd McIntosh and David DeLeon. That same year, he was also nominated, with Michael White, for Best Make-up and Hair for the film Milk in the 2009 BAFTA awards.

Other shows and films he worked on included Milk, The Judge, Willow, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Rock, Oz the Great and Powerful, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Nash Bridges, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Shark.
