Steve Truitt (born 21 February 1966; age 58) is an actor and television host who appeared as a crewman in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "".

Prior to his appearance in Enterprise, Truitt had featured parts in the television thriller Widow's Kiss (1996, with Bruce Davison, Claudette Nevins, James Harper, Irene Tsu, and Mike Gunther) and in episodes of Melrose Place (1997, with Jeffrey Nordling and directed by Anson Williams), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1997 and 2000, with Albie Selznick and Valerie Wildman and directed by Anson Williams), and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (2002, with Bumper Robinson and Jeanette Miller and developed by Jonathan Schmock).

He also appeared in the That's So Raven episode "Hook Up My Space" (2006) and worked as co-executive producer on the television documentary Born Schizophrenic: January's Story (2010).

Truitt may be better known for hosting television shows and documentaries including Dream Decoders on the Discovery Health Channel, Ground Rules on HGTV, Human Edge on the National Geographic Channel, Cybernet and The American Chart Show for the internationally syndicated Capricorn Programs, and Cool Stuff and How It Works on the Discovery Channel. He hosted the Miss Teen Burbank Pageant and the Burbank International Children's Film Festival in addition forto his regular contributions to KNBC-TV in Los Angeles and the KSOAP.COM radio program.

More recently, he worked as director of training and development for the company OneRoof Energy, Inc. between 2015 and 2016 and has been working as senior creative producer at Tesla Academy since 2017. [1]
