Template:Realworld Steve Picerni is a stuntman, stunt actor, stunt coordinator, and assistant director who performed stunts in Star Trek: First Contact.

Most of his family is also active in the stunt business or at least the acting business such as Chuck Picerni, Jr. and Charles Picerni. Picerni won a Stuntman Award (1986 for best fight sequence for Tuff Turf with fellow Star Trek stuntmen Spiro Razatos and Vince Deadrick, Jr.) and three Taurus World Stunt Awards (2002 for best stunt coordination in Pearl Harbor, shared with Andy Gill, and 2004 for best stunt coordination for Bad Boys II, shared with Andy Gill, and for best work with a vehicle). He was nominated for two more Taurus World Stunt Awards for best work with a vehicle (2003 for Showtime and 2004 for Bad Boys II). Recently he has been nominated for two Taurus Stunt Awards for best car stunt and best fire stunt in Deja Vu.

Among his extensive stunt resume are films such as Back to School (1986, with Sally Kellerman, Terry Farrell, Robert Picardo, and Dick Miller), Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989, with David Graf, Matt McCoy, Kenneth Mars, and stunts by Scott Leva, Maria R. Kelly, Irving E. Lewis, and Eugene Collier), Road House (1989, with Anthony DeLongis and Patricia Tallman), The Hunt for Red October (1990, with Gates McFadden), Total Recall (1990), Predator 2 (1990), Lethal Weapon 3 (1992), Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993, with Chase Masterson), True Romance (1993, with Christian Slater), True Lies (1994), Crimson Tide (1995), Se7en (1995), Barb Wire (1996, with Shelly Desai, Clint Howard, Peewee Piemonte, Nicholas Worth, and stunts by Dana Hee and Lane Leavitt), The Rock (1996, with Tony Todd), Eraser (1997, with Vanessa Williams), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Godzilla (1998), Armageddon (1998), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000), Pearl Harbor (2001), John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars (2001, with Marjean Holden), Showtime (2002, with William Shatner), Daredevil (2003), and Collateral (2004).
