Stephen "Steve" Warner Pugh (born 1967) is a visual effects artist. He was an employee of both Foundation Imaging and Eden FX while they worked on Star Trek: Enterprise. Apart from the television series, Pugh also worked as visual effects unit production manager on Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition) in 2001.
Steve Pugh started his career in the motion picture industry as he joined newly formed Foundation Imaging in September 1992, and he would remain in the employ of that company for the remainder of its existence, April 2002. As a systems engineer, he contributed to several episodes of Babylon 5 (1995-1996), a show featuring Bill Mumy and written by J. Michael Straczynski, as well as to the television series Hypernauts (1995). Upon closure of Foundation Imaging, Pugh followed many of his co-workers into employment at Eden FX, where he would stay until 2012 as visual effects supervisor. During that period, Pugh worked on many of the productions that company was involved with, including the movies Hellboy (2004 - featuring Ron Perlman), Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (2005), Shoot 'Em Up (2007), as well as the television productions FlashForward (2009-2010), Community (2010-2011) and The Playboy Club (2011).
In February 2012, Pugh moved over to Pixomondo Visual Effects (an international VFX house, founded in 2001, that currently employs many former Star Trek visual effects staffers) and has worked as visual effects executive producer on television productions like, Fringe (on which he had already worked at Eden FX), Animal Practice, Grimm, Kickin' It, as well as on the movies The Amazing Spider-Man and Spring Breakers (both 2012).
