Stephen James Carver (born 10 January 1961; age 63) is an actor who portrayed four characters across three episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He filmed his scenes for "Redemption II" on Thursday 11 July 1991 on Paramount Stage 5 and is listed as Steve Carver on the call sheet.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Carver appeared in episodes of Hunter (1990, with Jeff McCarthy, Steven Vincent Leigh, Peter White, and Timothy Dang), Homefront (1992, with Ken Jenkins, Sterling Macer, Jr., Kevin Scott Allen, John Walter Davis, Scott Lincoln, Randy Mulkey, and Kenneth White), Bodies of Evidence (1992, with Kate McNeil and Deborah Van Valkenburgh), The Golden Palace (1992 and 1993, with Tory Christopher, Josef Cannon, and Ricardo Montalban), Ellen (1994), Sisters (1994, with Robert Mandan and Ken Olandt), Diagnosis Murder (1996, with Terry O'Quinn), Dark Skies (1996, with Richard Fancy, Tim Kelleher, Conor O'Farrell, Leon Russom, Mary Kay Adams, and William Frankfather), and Melrose Place (1997, with Willie Garson and Jeffrey Nordling).

In addition, Carver had featured parts in the action film Bloodfist IV: Die Trying (1992, with Heather Lauren Olson and Gene LeBell) and in the comedy Liar Liar (1997, with Anne Haney, Mitchell Ryan, Eric Pierpoint, Ben Lemon, Randy Oglesby, James W. Jansen, Amanda Carlin, Eric Sharp, and Mark Chaet).

Carver later worked as the executive director/artistic director of the Longmont Theatre Company in Colorado, and as the executive director of the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre in Michigan. In 2022, Carver joined the staff of the Amelia Community Theatre in Fernandia Beach, Florida as the Managing Artistic Director. [1]
