Steelplast was a thin construction material used in the building of walls. Common in the Federation, Lieutenant Geordi La Forge identified this material with his VISOR in the tunnel walls of Mordan IV. Steelplast is susceptible to phaser fire. (TNG: "Too Short a Season")
