Starfleet uniform code

Though the uniform code is never discussed in detail, any uniform code would require the following:

1. Crew must dress in a way that is consistent enough to distinguish them from non-crew aboard ship, and standardized to their location and/or gender and/or role.

2. Dangerous or indecent adornment is disallowed.

3. Clothing with words, or any marker of allegiance to an authority that might claim higher status than the Federation and Starfleet is disallowed.
