Starfleet divisions are specialized organization structures within Starfleet. In many different forms of the Starfleet uniform, three main divisions (and the cadet division or crew support, in some issues) are identified by a color code department color, and sometimes a patch insignia. There are some uniforms which showed organization by different means, like collar or insignia color, and with different meanings than the three division structure used by other eras' uniform issues.
