In Starfleet, cadets were new recruits that enrolled in Starfleet Academy, who, upon graduation, were promoted to the rank of ensign and became an officer.
Many Starfleet officers were cadets at some point in their career. Personnel which are only known to have reached the designation of cadet without further promotion are listed. Certain other personnel which were renowned for their actions as a cadet are listed as well.
