Starbase 416 was a Federation starbase that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-24th century. This base was located on a planet. The base was not far from Ogus II. It contained advanced medical facilities capable of treating victims of cove palm parasites.

In 2367, the USS Enterprise-D rushed to Starbase 416 in order to treat young Willie Potts, who had accidentally ingested the cove palm fruit while on Ogus II. (TNG: "Brothers")
