Starbase 343 was a Federation starbase in operation in the 24th century.
In 2366, the USS Enterprise-D was diverted to the starbase to transport urgently needed medical supplies to the Alpha Leonis system, postponing its rendezvous with the USS Goddard. (TNG: "The Vengeance Factor")
Starbase 343 was located in the Beta Quadrant. (Star Trek: Star Charts, page 62)
