Earth Spacedock and the USS Enterprise in 2258.
The Earth Spacedock was a massive space station in orbit of Earth and was constructed some time prior to 2258.
In 2258, the USS Enterprise was docked at the station before its maiden voyage, when it left to answer a distress call from the planet Vulcan alongside the USS Farragut, USS Truman, USS Walcott, USS Antares, USS Centaurus, Mayflower, USS and the USS Hood. All these ships except the Enterprise, which left late, were later destroyed by the Narada at the Battle of Vulcan.
- It is not known what the fate of the station was following the subsequent attack on Earth by the Narada. (Star Trek)
- In the novelization, the spacedock is referred to as Starbase 1.
