Earth Spacedock and the USS Enterprise in 2258.
The Earth Spacedock was a massive station in orbit of Earth.
The hull consisted of a massive sphere in the center and six docking disks, allowing for multiple starships. (Star Trek)
This spacedock contained the newly constructed USS Enterprise and other federation starships of the fleet which were ultimately dispatched to intercept the distress call sent by the planet Vulcan.
