Starbase 103 was a Federation starbase near the Lorenze Cluster. It was within close range of planet Minos.

After Lieutenant Geordi La Forge ordered a saucer separation following an attack on the USS Enterprise-D by the automated weapons drones in orbit of Minos, he instructed the saucer section to head to Starbase 103. (TNG: "The Arsenal of Freedom")
