Star Trek: The Original Series is a comic book series published by IDW Publishing that began in April 2007. Several mini-series have been released, including one written from the Klingon point of view, set during the three years of Star Trek: The Original Series, four continuations of the Original Series and the Animated Series, telling of later years in the mission, the spin-off "Assignment Earth" television series, and the story of the Klingon-Romulan alliance.
