Star Trek: The Motion Picture - Special Longer Version was the LaserDisc release of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, with an extra twelve minutes of footage added that was not in the theatrical cut.

Released in the US in 1983, and in Japan in 1985 and 1989, in the full-screen format. A VHS version and a VHD version were also released in the full-screen format. This version of the film wasn't released in a wide-screen format until the DVD version came out under the title Star Trek: The Motion Picture - The Director's Edition.
