Star Trek: Starfleet Command - Orion Pirates is a computer game, the expansion to Star Trek: Starfleet Command II - Empires at War. It is a strategy based game involving thought and tactical maneuvers. The play takes command of one of the eight star empires from the original game. Afterward the player chooses between fighting the Orion Pirates or joining them. During game play, the players controls various ships and their systems while going into combat against enemy vessels.

StoryEdit

The story of Orion Pirates mainly revolves around the eight cartels for which the game is named. The 8 existing empires do not have a new story line, just a generic campaign in which they fight each other and the 8 cartels. The cartesl however, do have a story campaign which delves into relations between the cartels, as well as touching on a few event's from Empires at War.
