Template:Realworld Star Trek: Live in Concert is a series of screenings of the films Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, with live orchestra performing Michael Giacchino's score. The tour has its roots in a screening, which Giacchino attended, of the first film during the weekend of 12 April 2014, with live music by the 21st Century Symphony and with preview performances of the score for the second film. [1] The films' scores have been slightly tweaked by Giacchino. [2]

Notes
During the back-to-back screening of the films in London, Giacchino introduced both films, and was joined by J.J. Abrams and Simon Pegg. Between the performances, he also participated in a discussion hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, which was also attended by the string quartet Bond, who performed his music from Up and Lost. [3]
The 2014 San Diego Comic-Con screening was attended by Giacchino and John Cho, the former helping raise awareness of The Mission Continues, the charity that Abrams collaborated with on Into Darkness. The event also included a cosplay content. [4]
