Star Station India was a Federation facility. It was located in a sector adjacent to Sector Gamma 7.
On stardate 42494.8, in 2365, the USS Enterprise-D was en route to Star Station India to rendezvous with a Starfleet Medical courier when it intercepted a distress call from the USS Lantree.
Following a diversion to the Darwin Genetic Research Station on Gagarin IV, the Enterprise resumed its course to Star Station India. (TNG: "Unnatural Selection")
