Star Fleet Battle Group Omega was a Starfleet task force deployed in Sector 1045 in 2379, to counter an impending Reman incursion. The USS Enterprise-E was ordered to rendezvous with the group, but it was attacked en route by the Scimitar inside the Bassen Rift. (Star Trek Nemesis)
