Stadi was a Betazoid Starfleet officer with the rank of lieutenant before her death in 2371.
That year, she was assigned to the conn on the newly commissioned starship USS Voyager. Prior to Voyager's departure from Deep Space 9, she piloted a shuttlecraft (NCC-71325) carrying Tom Paris, who was joining the crew as an informant on the Maquis. He found her attractive but she declined his advances.
When Voyager encountered the Caretaker's displacement wave in the Badlands, Stadi was killed in the resulting turbulence as the ship was dragged into the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Caretaker")
Stadi was played by Alicia Coppola.
The non-canon Star Trek: Starship Creator CD-ROM program gives her first name as Veronica.
