A spatial flexure is a type of spatial rift, a tunnel through space that can be created with nothing more than a standard deflector array. The flexure allows a vessel to traverse great distances otherwise unattainable with conventional propulsion systems.

In 2378, Q, Junior opened a spatial flexure to the Clevari system utilizing the Delta Flyer's deflector array. However, after his friend Icheb was injured in an attack, he used another flexure to return to the USS Voyager, in order to secure medical attention for Icheb. (VOY: "Q2")
