The Spacematic was a one-man scout ship that was in service in the mid-23rd century. This ship was owned by Cyrano Jones, and was larger than a class F shuttlecraft. For seven years, from 2261 to 2268, Cyrano Jones used the Spacematic for asteroid prospecting and trading. Less than four months prior to stardate 4523, the Spacematic was in the Klingon sphere of influence. The ship's logs were later accessed by Arne Darvin as part of an effort to divert attention from himself and painting Jones as a Klingon spy. The Spacematic's type and activities were described in "The Trouble with Tribbles". This ship's name was labeled on a miniature studio model in "Trials and Tribble-ations". This ship is presumed to be the same as Jones' scout ship. [1]The model was built by Jason Kaufman.
