Space (or SPACE) is a Canadian broadcasting channel. It is owned and operated by Bell Media. Its primary programming includes science fiction, fantasy, and horror related shows, whether scripted series or documentaries.
The station debuted in October 1997 with the film Forbidden Planet. Various Star Trek shows have been re-run on the channel, and each year around Christmas, they air one or more of the Star Trek films.
The Station is notable for being the only in the world to have all 5 Star Trek series on their regular, Monday-Friday schedule for an extended period of time. However, Enterprise was dropped in 2007, TOS (in favor of TOS:Remastered) in November 2009 and DS9 (Without warning and with no reason given) in September 2011.
