Sound Source Interactive was a video game developer and publisher. Founded in 1988 the company was based in Delaware, USA and developed for a wide variety of video game platforms, primarily focusing on licensed properties. In 1998 they released Star Trek: The Game Show for Windows and Macintosh systems. On 11 September 2000 after being acquired by TDK they were merged with BWT Labs, a studio that SSI had acquired earlier in 1998 to form TDK Mediactive.
