Skydance Productions is a production company which will produce the Star Trek Into Darkness in association with Paramount Pictures. The company was founded in 2006 by David Ellison who will work as executive producer on the Star Trek sequel, along with fellow Skydance executives Dana Goldberg and Paul Schwake.[1]
The company worked with Paramount Pictures on the western True Grit (2010), the action sequel Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011, with Simon Pegg), the comedy My Mother's Curse (2012, with Adam Scott and Brett Cullen), the science fiction sequel G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation (2012, with Dwayne Johnson), the horror film World War Z (2012), and the crime drama One Shot (2013, with Nicole Forester).
