Skoran

Skoran

Skoran was a Barkonian blacksmith in the 24th century.

In 2370 Skoran purchased fragments of a crashed Federation probe due to their unusual metallic properties. Skoran fashioned jewelry out of the metal and distributed it widely within his community on Barkon IV. What Skoran did not know, however, is that the metal was radioactive and was causing radiation sickness to spread within the community.

As more people became sick, Skoran blamed Lieutenant Commander Data, who had been sent to retrieve the probe fragments but was suffering from memory loss as a result of the radiation. Skoran led a mob that attacked and disabled Data just as he was placing an antidote to the poisoning in the community well. (TNG: "Thine Own Self")

Skoran was played by Michael G. Hagerty.
