The Sisters of Hope Infirmary was a Christian hospital in San Francisco on Earth in the 19th century. The hospital was adjacent to R. Moore Grocery.
In 1862, this hospital was established. Thirty-one years later, in 1893, a severe cholera epidemic crowded the wards of the Infirmary. The hospital's conditions and treatments were primitive, though modern by contemporary standards, and the death of patients was sufficiently common that it provided cover to Devidians who were murdering Humans for sustenance. Doctors at the facility tended toward arrogance and nurses were not encouraged to voice their opinions, even when borne out by the facts of a particular case. (TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II")
