The Singha refugee camp was a labor camp where Bajoran refugees were forced by the Cardassians to work during the Occupation of Bajor.

Kira Nerys and her family were held at this camp. Nerys' mother, Kira Meru, was believed to have died there of malnutrition in 2346. In fact, she spent her remaining years as a comfort woman for Gul Dukat. (DS9: "Shadowplay", "Second Skin", "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night")
