Silent Weapons is a forthcoming novel by David Mack, scheduled to be released in November 2012. The second part in the Star Trek: The Next Generation - Cold Equations trilogy, the novel will reportedly feature the crew of the USS Enterprise-E attempting "to avert the assassination of the Federation President – only to confront an even greater conspiracy".
Mack revealed that contracts had been signed for the novel on 8 March 2011. [1] The individual novel titles and story details were announced in Star Trek Magazine issue 166.
