Nurse Shirley H. Brand was a Starfleet crewperson during the Dominion War.

In 2374, a file from the starship USS Exeter reported Brand killed in action. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")

Brand's name appeared on the casualty list display seen on a computer readout in that episode. It is unclear if she served on this ship or if the ship only reported her death, and if she was a relative of listmate Commander Harry Brand.
