ShiVang was a Klingon general who served as a flag officer in the Klingon Defense Forces.

Martok spent five years as a civilian laborer aboard ShiVang's flagship, until he earned a battlefield commission for his actions during a failed attempt by the Romulans to board the flagship. (DS9: "Once More Unto the Breach")
