Shannon Thornton is an actress who played a waitress of Sisko's Creole Kitchen in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "Homefront" and "Paradise Lost". She received no credit for her work and was identified by the name tag of her costume which was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]

Thornton's only other known acting credit was the role of the press box columnist in the film Jerry Maguire (1996, with Mike Boss, and stunts by Steve Blalock and Allan Graf). She was also the assistant for director Peter Bogdanovich during the shooting of the film The Thing Called Love (1993).
