Doctor Shannon Fox is a marriage therapist and psychologist who had a brief appearance as Commander William T. Riker's date in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "True Q". She received no credit for this cameo role.
Fox is probably best known for her reality television show Love on the Rocks (since 2005), where she works as a couples counselor. As a licensed marriage and family therapist and expert on relationships, Fox has also appeared in several reality shows, news shows, and entertainment programs, including The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Millionaire Matchmaker, The O'Reilly Factor, Inside Edition, The Today Show, and Extra: The Entertainment Magazine.
In 2010 Fox published her book "Last One Down the Aisle Wins". [1]
