Shakti is an actress who appeared as a Starfleet captain, credited as Aide-de-camp, in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Her birth name is Shakti Chen and she was married to producer, director, and writer Leslie Stevens until his death in 1998.

Among her film resume are the comedy Volunteers (1985, with Clyde Kusatsu, stunt coordinated by B.J. Davis, and directed by Nicholas Meyer), the independent film Unmasking the Idol (1986), the fantasy comedy The Golden Child (1986, with Frank Welker, Gene LeBell, Simone Boisseree, Jeff Cadiente, Jeff Imada, and Vince Deadrick), the action film Three Kinds of Heat (1987), and the action drama Deadly Target (1994, with Timothy Dang, Chuck Borden, Scott Leva, and Jeff Pruitt).
