Sesame Street (abbreviated as Sesame St.) was the name of a fictional American street depicted in the books Big Bird's Rhyming Book, starring Big Bird, and The Monster at the End of This Book, starring Grover.
In 2000, those books were available to purchase at Alexandria Books, which was a bookstore located in Portage Creek. (VOY: "11:59")
Sesame Street is most well known not as a book series, but as a children's television program on PBS, featuring Muppet characters created by Jim Henson. Many Star Trek alumni have appeared in Sesame Street and other Muppet programs, such as Jason Alexander, Patrick Stewart, John Cho, and others.
