Template:Realworld Ser'Darius William Blain is an actor and singer-songwriter who appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness. He played the unnamed security officer who accompanies Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto), Uhura (Zoe Saldana), and Hendorff (Jason Matthew Smith) to Qo'noS to capture John Harrison. Blain is credited as "U.S.S. Enterprise Red Shirt" in the film.
Blain is perhaps best known for his role as Woody in Paramount Pictures' 2011 remake of their film Footloose. He also played the recurring role of Carter on the short-lived ABC Family comedy-drama series Jane by Design in 2012.
One of Blain's earliest acting jobs was a role in a 2010 episode of Meet the Browns, one of the several comedy series created by popular filmmaker and Star Trek actor Tyler Perry. Blain has since guest-starred on The Vampire Diaries and NCIS. He will also be seen in the upcoming sports drama film When the Game Stands Tall.
