Seismic fissures were present on Xindus, and were evidence – at least according to Gralik Durr – that the planet was geologically weak. He told Jonathan Archer that the hundred-year Xindi Civil War was ended when the Xindi-Reptilian and Insectoids placed explosives along the eight largest seismic fissures of the planet.
