The Briar Patch, located in Sector 441
Sector 441 is an area located in Federation space, which contains the anomalous Briar Patch.
In 2154, Arik Soong, who, along with a group of human augments, had stolen a Klingon Bird-of-Prey, set course for Sector 441, where he felt the Briar Patch, known by the Klingons as "Klach k'Kel Brakt," would provide a safe place for the incubation and maturation of several augment embryos which he had stolen from Cold Station 12. In 2375, the USS Enterprise traveled to Sector 441 in order to investigate a mysterious malfunction of Lieutenant Commander Data, who was participating in an anthropological expedition on a planet located in the Patch. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
