Sean M. Casey was an employee at Industrial Light & Magic who was assigned as a model maker on several Star Trek films as well as the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint" in 1987. He worked under Steve Gawley during the construction of the USS Reliant studio model and later acted as the humpback whale mold supervisor.
