Template:Realworld Scott Rubenstein is a writer who wrote with writing partner Leonard Mlodinow the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Dauphin". Together with Mlodinow he also worked as story editor on the episodes between "The Outrageous Okona" and "The Royale". His name can be seen on an okudagram in the episode "The Outrageous Okona".

Together with Mlodinow he also wrote the stories for episodes of What's Happening Now! (1985), 9 to 5 (1986), MacGyver (1987, episode directed by James L. Conway), Hunter (1989, episode directed by James Darren), Night Court (1990), and Adam 12 (1990). Other writing credits include episodes of Diff'rent Strokes (1980-1982), Benson (1984, starring Rene Auberjonois and Ethan Phillips), and Cagney & Lacey (1985).

In 1996 he wrote the short television film Peacock Blues which featured Tony Plana.
