Scott Pearson is a writer and an editor. He was first published in 1987 with "The Mailbox," a short story about an elderly farming couple. In the years since, he has published a smattering of humor, poetry, short stories, reviews, and nonfiction. His first mystery story, "Out of the Jacuzzi, Into the Sauna," is available in the anthology Resort to Murder. Scott makes his living as an editor for Zenith Press, a military history publisher in Minneapolis, and X-comm, a regional history publisher in Duluth. He has edited such books as Tales from a Tin Can: The USS Dale from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, which received a starred review in Publishers Weekly, and Will to Murder: The True Story Behind the Crimes & Trials Surrounding the Glensheen Killings, which was featured on Dominick Dunne’s Power, Privilege, and Justice series on CourtTV. Scott also writes monthly book reviews for Author magazine. His latest publication is the science fiction story "Finders Keepers" in the anthology Full-Throttle Space Tales #3: Space Grunts. Edited by Dayton Ward, it includes stories by a number of Star Trek writers: Derek Tyler Attico, Kirsten Beyer, John Coffren, Jeff D. Jaques, Alan L. Lickiss, James Swallow, Geoffrey Thorne, and Dayton Ward. Scott lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Ella.
