Scott Pearson is a writer and an editor. He was first published in 1987 with "The Mailbox," a short story about an elderly farming couple. In the years since, he has published a smattering of humor, poetry, short stories, reviews, and nonfiction. His first mystery story, "Out of the Jacuzzi, Into the Sauna," is available in the anthology Resort to Murder. Scott makes his living as an editor for Zenith Press, a history publisher in Minneapolis, and Zenith City Press, a regional history publisher in Duluth (yes, he works for two publishers with almost the same name). He has edited such books as Tales from a Tin Can: The USS Dale from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, which received a starred review in Publishers Weekly, and Will to Murder: The True Story Behind the Crimes & Trials Surrounding the Glensheen Killings, which was featured on Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege, and Justice series on CourtTV. Scott also writes monthly book reviews for Author magazine and has written articles for Star Trek Magazine. His latest publication is the story "The Tale of the Nouveau Templar" in the anthology ReDeus: Divine Tales. Edited by Robert Greenberger and Aaron Rosenberg, it includes stories by a number of Star Trek writers: Dave Galanter, Allyn Gibson, Robert Greenberger, William Leisner, Aaron Rosenberg, Lawrence Schoen, Dayton Ward, and Steven H. Wilson. Scott lives near the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, fabled in story and song, in personable St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Ella.
