Scott McElroy played a security lieutenant in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Darkness and the Light". He was also a stunt performer on the series and in Star Trek: Voyager on which he also served as stunt double for Robert Beltran.

McElroy is perhaps best known for his role as Soren, a vampire character in the films Underworld and Underworld: Evolution.

He also performed stunts in Pulp Fiction, U.S. Marshals and Zoolander. He served as Steven Weber's stunt double in Take Out the Beast.
