Template:Realworld 'SF (once knows as SF Channel) or more commonly known as Sci-Fi Channel' is an Australian subscription television channel. It is only available through satellite and cable subscription platforms such as Foxtel and Austar. SF specializes in playing Science Fiction and fantasy television programmes. SF plays Star Trek episodes from all five series in syndication.

Since the Austar was assimilated by Foxtel in 2011, that nature of SF's continuation was in limbo. In 2013 it was announced that SF will discontinue broadcasting on the 31st of December. It will be replaced by a new channel called 'SyFy' which will begin broadcasting in early 2014.
