Satler was part of a group of mercenaries that boarded the USS Enterprise-D during preparations for a baryon sweep in 2369 at Arkaria Base with the intent of stealing trilithium resin. He was from an unnamed species. Satler was killed by the baryon sweep whilst pursuing Captain Jean-Luc Picard through a jefferies tube. (TNG: "Starship Mine")

Satler was played by Tim de Zarn.
