Sankur was a Kazon who united the sects in the Kazon Order, forming an historic union to defeat their Trabe captors. His revolution, however, was short lived, and the Kazon sects would resume fighting shortly after they achieved independence from the Trabe.

The only time another Kazon leader came close to such a united front was during Jal Culluh's brief attempt to bring the sects together to defeat the USS Voyager. (VOY: "Maneuvers")
