The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, 2151

The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge was a set of bridges spanning San Francisco Bay. The bridge connected San Francisco to Oakland.

It existed as early as 1986, when it was depicted on a San Francisco Municipal Railway map. The bridge survived into at least the late 23rd century. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture; Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home; ENT: "Broken Bow", "Affliction")

Built in the 1930s, the bridge saw a major refit following the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The depictions of the bridge in Star Trek were of the bridge in its pre-refit state. In "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", the full length of the bridge can be seen faintly in the distance. To date, this bridge has not been seen in the alternate reality. It might be that this bridge didn't exist in this reality. A map of the bay seen on a powerwall in the office of Admiral Alexander Marcus doesn't show the bridge. [1]
