Sam Alejan (born 10 September 1946; age 77) is an actor who appeared as a Starfleet officer for seven years on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In addition, he worked as stand-in and photo double on Deep Space Nine and appeared in several other background parts. Alejan also worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek Generations. As a background performer he received no credit for his appearances.

Alejan appeared in episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Seventh Heaven (starring Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks), America's Most Wanted, Quantum Leap (starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell), Home Front, The Agency, Mad TV, The West Wing, 24 (2007, with Alexander Siddig, Mark Bramhall, and James Cromwell), and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2015, episode "Purpose in the Machine", along with Mark Casimir Dyniewicz, Jayson Dumenigo, and Lauren Kim).
