Room 727

Room 727 in the Royale

The Royale (also known as the Hotel Royale or the Royale Hotel) was the setting of the novel Hotel Royale by Todd Matthews. A realistic recreation of this place was created on the planet Theta VIII. Worf attempted to use a his hand-phaser on all types of surfaces inside the recreation and found that none of the materials were affected, even at maximum setting.

One of the rooms, #727, became the final resting place of Stephen G. Richey, whose corpse was found there by a USS Enterprise-D away team in 2365. (TNG: "The Royale")
